Festina Lente Lettering

Festina Lente in Latin means Make Haste Slowly, but it was also adapted by Aldus Manutius as his publishing imprint together with a mark of anchor and a dolphin.

His publishing house Aldine Press made great strides towards paperback editions we know and love today.

I was inspired by his story and decided to create my own version of the phrase integrated with the mark.
