I’m so excited to share my first Skillshare class with you! In this class, I take you through my process of vectorising script lettering as well as how to work with the pen tool and all about the point placement. Many of these subjects I touched on in my blog but not as detailed. In this intro video, you can take a look at what is covered throughout the class.
Making a class has been on my mind for a long time and when I finally joined the Skillshare Teach Challenge my class started to take shape. I have to admit it was really scary and way out of my comfort zone but I’m really glad that I did it and I hope it will be helpful to anyone trying to make sense of the pen tool.
For the class project I picked ice cream flavors, so by the end of this class, you will have your favorite ice cream flavor in script lettering, sketched and vectorised!
There is also plenty of class materials included like a practice worksheet for working with the pen tool, printable questions to keep your work on track if you don’t have anyone to give you feedback, printable keyboard shortcuts, and a printable pen tool cheat sheet if you run into trouble remembering all you can do with the pen tool.
If you don’t already have skillshare, you can use this link and get 2 months free. I hope to see you in class!
